It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Gedraitis of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Ludwig and Velda Griner (Phillips). She is survived by : her husband Edward Gedraitis; her son Michael Towe (Angela) of Braidwood; her stepsons, Nick Gedraitis (Lisa) of Evergreen Park and Matt Gedraitis (Marissa) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Tiffany Plunkett (Tommy) of Braidwood, Christina Bush (Joe) of Godley, Cheyenne Towe of Braidwood, Mae Gedraitis of Evergreen Park, Jake of Chicago and Lanie Gedraitis of Chicago; her great grandchildren, Brody, Ahriana and Ella; her brothers, Gary Wayne Ludwig of Indianapolis and Randy Layne Ludwig (Valerie) of Greensburg, Indiana; and her nieces, Jaime and Bethany.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Darlene's memory to American Humane or to American Lung Association.
