With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George R. Tiedeman of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Downers Grove, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Henry, Sr. Tiedeman and Stella Rose Tiedeman (Joswick); his children, Ray Tiedeman (Cindy) of Prairie Grove, Cindy Conry (Marty) of Crown Point, Caroline Wood (Brian) of Loda and Cathy Valone (Joe) of Manhattan, Illinois; his grandchildren, Megan Conry (Brian Mustradi), Julie Conry, Alisa Sloan (Dan), Adam Valone, Staci Wood (Mike Montalto), Christina Brock (Jake), Max Valone, Andy Tiedeman, Arlen Tiedeman and Shenne Tiedeman; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Brock, Makayla Brock, Lillian Brock and Greyson Sloan; his sister-in-law Jeanette Shust (Wayne) of Palatine; his wife Nancy Eileen Sarat; his siblings, Henry Jr. Tiedeman (Joydine), Dorothy Ambler (Robert) and Johnny Tiedeman; and his sister-in-law Doris Formanski (George). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in George's memory to a Veteran's Charity of the donor's choosing.
