She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Lovell and Alice Lovell (Green); and her aunt Loretta Long (Francis "Jiggs"). She is survived by: her husband John Meyer, Jr.; her sons, Donald Meyer (Mary) of Urbana and David Meyer (Donnette) of Kankakee, Illinois; and her granddaughter Allyson Meyer of Kankakee.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gladys' memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
