He is survived by: his daughter Megan Hansen (Dave Decker) of Braceville, Illinois; his sister Gayle Smith (Wayne) of Coal City, Illinois; his sibling's children, Stacey Harrison (Mike) of Ponte Verde and Christian Smith (Samantha Kee) of Coal City, Illinois; his great-nephew Declan Smith; and his friend Bobby Thomas.
