He was predeceased by: his parents, Julious Cruse, Sr. and Susie Mae Shell (Green); his stepfather Harold Gould; and his former wife Donna Kane. He is survived by: his wife Nikki Nelson; his sons, Mark Shell (Candy) of Wilmington, Jeff Shell (Michelle Lucas) of Wilmington and Chris Shell of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Bethani Hincherick (Justin Frait), Mark J. Shell (Rachel), Kelly Lusson (Martin Piplits), Kaylee Heap (Kevin), Joelle Baldacci (Zach), Philip Lusson (Yasmin), Scott Shell (Emily), Ashley Van Tilburg (Tom), Todd Shell (Chrissy), William Shell, Richard Shell (Sara Colin), Maria Labanowski (Tom), Jesse Czaja (Jake) and Samantha Smith; his mother-in-law Joye O'Keefe; his siblings-in-law, Faye Kane, Dean Kane, DeeDee Casagrande (Don) and Erik Nelson; and his caregivers, Donna Max, June Pleiter and Jolene Misischia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
