He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Marietta (Palermo) of Wilmington and Mike Sr. Marietta; his siblings, Lori Duncan (John), Theresa Marietta (Janet Meyer) and De Anna Farrell (James); his siblings' children, Anthony Hughes (Monica), Angela Burnette (Chris), Andrew Hughes (Jane), Stephen Lapinsky, Ian Marietta-Meyer and Jack Marietta-Meyer; his great-nieces, Emily and Lyric; and his friend Cindy. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Mike's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street, Wilmington, Illinois 60481.
