We bid farewell to Phil Anderson of Wilmington, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 28, 2025 at the age of 73. Phil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Anderson and Doris Anderson (Wilson); his sister Linnea Rebel (Rick); his parents-in-law, Mert and Wally Proffitt; and his sister-in-law Peggy Decker.
He is survived by: his wife Jill; his children, Philip Justin "PJ" Anderson (Kat) of Woodstock, Marty Enz (Gina) of Las Vegas, Patrick Cowie (Amanda) of Las Vegas and Amy Kinkin (Tracy) of Braidwood, Illinois; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Landyn, Jurzey, Coltyn, Anzley, Miles, Zoey, Jaxen, Nolan, Bennett, Marcus and Kaitlyn; his brother Larry Anderson (Leslie) of Black Forrest, Colorado; his sisters-in-law, Shelly Molle (Mark), Wendy Kahler (Mark) and Pam Pitts (David); and his nieces and nephews, Karin Kirkys (John), Kristin Ruth (Tim), Larry Anderson (Patty) and Matthew Rebel (Olivia).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 E Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be made as gifts to the family for their distribution.
