We bid farewell to Sylvia Elaine McPherson of Wilmington, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 22, 2026 at the age of 78. Sylvia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Turnquist and Hilda Turnquist (Sodergren); her husband Billy McPherson; and her siblings, Donald, Alfred and Marilyn Belliveau.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne McPherson, Tricia Hodges (Jeff), Phillip McPherson (Julia) and Steven McPherson; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kyle, Ryan, Brittany Baker, Michael Burgett, Mason, Halana McPherson, Chase and Austin McPherson; her siblings, Douglas Turnquist and Helen Besser; and her close friend Sylvia. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
