He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lewis and Mary Louise Barber Sr. (Large); and his siblings, Cindy Westbrook, Barbara Mills, Mary Roberts, Art, David, Michael, Ronald and Ricky Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Richard D. Barber Jr. of Wilsonville, IL, Stacey L. Barber (Jared Pruitt) of Wilsonville, IL, Jason L. Barber of Mt. Olive, IL, Beverly Stagner of Austin, TX, Daniel Fey of Gillespie, IL and David Bradley of Pana, IL; and his grandsons, Ben and Hunter Pruitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the Transportation Fund at the Moeller Cancer Center in Alton, IL.
