He was predeceased by: his stepson Rod Sturgeon of Alsey. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Judy Woodcock of Alsey; his children, Don Jr. of Pittsfield and Lori Fuerst (Terry) of New Hartford, MO; and his stepchildren, John, Terry Fryman of Alsey, Cindy, Dave Ryan of Alsey and Connie. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, ten step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coonrod Funeral Home (107 E Cross St, Winchester, IL 62694). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Alsey Baptist Church (155 Church Blvd, Alsey, IL 62610).
Memorials can be made to the Alsey Baptist Church, Elara Hospice or Winchester American Legion.
