He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Steckel and Yvonne Steckel; his wife Deborah L. Wear; and his grandson Eli Steckel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Winchester (30 W Cross St, Winchester, IL 62694). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to The Scott County Nursing Center where Zane received excellent care or The First Baptist Church Stained Glass Window Fund.
