The memory of Donald Walter in Windsor, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavalle Walter and Mae Lillie Walter (Rose); and his sisters, Virgery Vanier Valerie Walter and Margaret Rukas. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Colleen Gignac (Bernie) and Patricia Rouffer (Dave). He is also survived by his family, and his friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthews Anglican Church (1600 Norfolk St, Windsor, ON N9E1H5).
