He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Helen Thompson (MacDonald); his wife Vickie Brown Cole; his son Jason; and his sister Joyce French.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Nichols of Dallas, Cary Cole (Karyn) of Windsor, Stacy Cole of Windsor and Jennifer Coleman (Troy) of Findlay; his grandchildren, AJ, Ivy, Hannah, Hayden, Andy, Carson, Taylor, Camden and Regan; and his siblings, Jim Thompson (Connie) of Charleston, Carole Burke (Mike) of Mattoon and Jerry Thompson (Marla) of Windsor.
