He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard Longacre and Jeanne Longacre. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann; his children, Tammy Marie Longacre (Tom Schmitt) and Kenneth David Longacre (Teri); his grandchildren, Kelsey Schmitt, AJ McCoy, Dan Schmitt, Jenna McCoy, David Longacre and Anna Longacre; and his siblings, Bob Longacre (Lisa), Sue Longacre (Joe Crowe) and Steve Longacre (Chrissy Baxter).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (0S233 Church St, Winfield, IL 60190).
