He is survived by: his son James Swanborg, Jr. (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Douglas, Andrew (Cody), Sean, Collin, Samantha (Jacob), Alexis (Timothy) and Jonathan (Kateland); his great grandchildren, Atticus, Cyrus, Theodore, Benjamin and Oliver; his sons-in-law, Edmond Mertzenich and David Winsel; his siblings, Karen Wadsworth, John Swanborg (Susan) and Karl Swanborg; his daughters, Nancy Mertzenich and Patsy Winsel; and his brother-in-law James Wadsworth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
