She was predeceased by : her parents, Irvan Edwards and Rowena Edwards (Loofboro); her siblings, Bruce Edwards and Connie Edwards; and her in-laws, Helen and Louis Johnson.

She is survived by : her husband Dave; her daughter Lisa Scales; her granddaughter Sophie Scales; her son-in-law Corey Scales (Missy); her brother Dennis Edwards (Dixie); her sisters-in-law, Donna Edwards, Judy Miller and Susan Griffith; and her close friends, Darlene McElwee, Marilyn Mason and Kathy Ferrell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
