She is survived by: her husband Gene Viel; her children, Shane Shadden, Bob Viel (Suzzette), Jim Viel, Joe Viel (Daniella) and Amanda White (Tim); her brother Rex Huffman (Diane); her nephews, Mike and Brent; her brother Terry Huffman (Lisa); her niece Michaela; her brother-in-law Roy Viel (Marge); her grandchildren, Justin Viel, Mark Nelson Megan Nelson, Ava Viel, Ivan Viel, Kain Viel, Sam Kelley, Abby Kelley, Gunnar Shank, Ayden Shank, Denton Shank, Grant White, Grace White, Grant Watson, Kaitlin Watson, Britney and Haley; and her extended family, Scott Shank, Deanna Viel and Rebecca Fox. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Middle Creek Presbyterian Church (12473 Montague Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
