He is survived by: his wife Donna Richards (Schaefer); his children, Karen Hebberger (Mike), Linda Thierolf (Les) and Bruce Richards (Jenn); his stepchildren, Debbie McNutt (David), Tim Bennett (Nikki) and David Bennett (Annette); his grandchildren, Tim Hebberger (Hannah), Katie Thierolf, Shelby Thierolf, Lance Richards, Stephanie Robinson (David) and Kristin Richards; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon McNutt (Saleema), Kaitlynne Range (Joe), Garrett McNutt (Cami), Abby Bennett, McKenna Dray (Ross), Emberlynn Bennett, Devon Bennett and Jade Rydberg (Noah); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Logan McNutt and Riley McNutt; his cousins, Bob Knivila, Steve Knivila and Sue Knivila; his friends, Steve and Joanne Pozzi; and his pet Dutchess.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Westlake Village Club House (3677 Westlake Village Dr, Winnebago, IL 61088).
