He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kristie; his children, Nicholas and Laura; his parents, Nicholas Stoynoff and Angeline Stoynoff; his parents-in-law, James and Elsie Sigalos; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Steven and Joanne Collins; his grandparents, Naum, Santa Stoynoff, Denis and Anastasia Stephanopoulos; his uncle Peter Stoynoff (late Sophia); his cousins, Ohrid, Janice, Butch Gio, Stevce Stefanoski and Koumbaro; his sibling Sargon Yonan; his godchildren, Nicholas Yonan, Kristie Treff and Melissa Hunter; and also, Fannie, Helen, Rosie, Margie, Mike, Jimmy and Josie Stephanopoulos.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ss Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church (1401 Wagner Rd, Glenview, IL 60025).
