With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caroline Armstrong of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Armstrong; her parents, Peter Sanchez and Tilda Sanchez; and her great grandchild Levi Bernhardt. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Brad Williams (Barb), Lisa Shaw (Steve) and Jim Armstrong (Christina); her grandchildren, Melissa Poisl (TJ), Steven Shaw (Laine), Kristi Shaw, Alyssa Bernhardt (Joe), Sarah Armstrong and Ashleigh Armstrong; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Micah, Malachi, Lucas and Evelyn.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be given to Samaritans Purse.
