We announce the death of John Speiser of Witt, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 77. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Speiser and Ruth Speiser (Hines); and his sister Ruth Ann Harston. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Speiser of Murphysboro, Rebecca Styron of California and Phil Speiser (Jodi) of Witt; his grandchildren, Hollis Styron, William and Hope Speiser; and his niece Melissa Powell.
