She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Shattuck and Leila Holmes Shattuck; her husband John Dwight McArthur; her close friend Wayne Lynch; her grandson Jonathan; her great grandchild Allie Faye McCaslin; and her siblings, Beverly Allen, Gloria Zeleski, Lowell, Lester and Lloyd Shattuck.
She is survived by: her children, Sonia Hodson (Troy Shurtz) of Witt, Monica Florence of Witt, Greta Akers (Dorman) of Witt, John McArthur of Witt and Kimberly McCarty (Aaron) of Irving; her grandchildren, Evalyn, Nicole, Danielle, Megan, Ashley, Brian, Chelsy, Danyel, Dane, Justin, Makenzie, Zayne, Abigail, Samantha, Trevor, Brook, Leslie and Griffen; her sister Sandra Flewelling of North Carolina; and her sister-in-law Kathy Lorton of Witt. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or the Christian Church of Witt.
