He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Bunky" Reese and Sandra Reese (Manns); his son Brody Reese; and his sister Barbara Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Taylor Wilkerson of Eureka, Alexzander Reese of Portland, Ashley Page (Ryan) of Ohio, Katie Wheeler of Florida and Joshua Reese (Jaelyn Schulte) of Jerseyville; his stepdaughters, Mackenzie Grant of Sedalia and Shawna McPherson (Jason) of Fayetteville; his sister Kimberly Cruz of Carlyle; and his close friends, Bobbie Rhoades of Sedalia and Michelle Plumb of Alton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095).
Memorials are suggested to the family with checks payable to Josh Reese and will be accepted at the funeral home.
