With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Barnd of Wood River, Illinois, born in Roodhouse, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James V. Adkins and Ruby M. Adkins (Newman); her husband Lloyd Barnd; and her brother James J. Adkins. She is survived by : her children, Lloyd "Buddy" Barnd of Alton and Glenda Haskins (Larry) of Florissant, MO; her grandson Glenn "Adam" Barnd (DiDi); and her great grandchildren, Zachary Barnd, Skylar Barnd and Courtney Barnd.
