He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ned and Mary Ann White (Barton); and his brother Donald L. Friedenburg. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schmidt; his children, John White (Karen), Todd White (Shari) of East Alton, Nancy Berry of Englewood, CA, Lynda Vandiver (David) of East Alton, Karen White of Wood River and Molly Forte of Sarasota, FL; and his stepchildren, Jim Tucker, John Tucker of Colorado Springs, CO, Glenn Bujeweski of Wildwood, MO, Carol Bujewski of Wildwood, MO and Robin Tucker of Colorado Springs.
