He is survived by: his son Adam Thaxton of Alton; his stepchildren, Philip Fairchild of Bentonville, AR and Korissa Courtney of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Izaac Thaxton and Thomas Baker; his stepgrandchildren, Kloie, Rylie, Harlie, Bella and Kaleb; and his brothers, Keith Thaxton of Roxana and Eric Thaxton of Godfrey.
