He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Ringering and Marjorie Ringering (Eades); his siblings, Ina Kay (Davis), Edward (Carol) and Larry Ringering (Jan); and his nephew Jake Ringering (Allison).

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Tomerlin (Jay) and Michael Ringering; his siblings, Allan, Jerry Ringering (Debbie), Sharon Reller (Todd) and Mary Meile; his grandson Brian Tomerlin (Mary); and his great grandchild Ingrid Tomerlin.
