He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maxine Taylor (Starkey) and Paul Taylor; his grandparents, Henry and Agnes Starkey (Moore); his child Jody Bozovich (Michael); his grandsons, Lucas and Jacob; his son Nicholas Walls (Karla); his grandchild Yavonn (Dakota); his great grandchildren, Ember, Erika, Roran, Delilah, Derek McDaniels (Sarah), Andrew (Mandy) and Raiden; his daughter Stefanie Bockholdt-Retherford (Jim); his granddaughter Amber Clifford (Dylan); his great grandchild Emersyn; his daughter Wendy Foss (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lexus Reynolds (Austin), Daric and Alyvia; his daughter Deni Jo Smith (Rob); his grandchildren, Jessica, Kaleb and Grayson; his sister Sue Ann Garrison; his niece Charlia Reader (Mark); his siblings, Janice, Philip Taylor and Glenda Powell; his close friend Denny Cox; and also Thom Swain. He was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
