Frona Lea Walker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frona Lea Walker (Wood River, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Frona is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Frona's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Craig and Caldonia Craig (Penrod); her husband William LeRoy Walker, Sr.; and her siblings, Billie "Red" Craig, Nancy Hayden, Nova Duley and Lulubelle Craig.
She is survived by: her children, William L., Dennis Walker (Billie Jo), Kathy Sears (Joe), Nancy McKee (John), Karen Owens (Jim) and Kristina McKeith (Richard).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marks Mortuary (633 E Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095).
