Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gary Ray Shoemaker (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 67, on November 4, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Billy Shoemaker and Patsy Shoemaker (Blackwell); his wife Luanne Stanton; and his siblings, Connie Lee Shoemaker and Otis Shoemaker.

He is survived by : his close friend Anne Freeman of Brighton; his daughters, Marissa (Kevin Dunn), Kimberly Shoemaker of Hartford and Whitney Shoemaker of Alton; his sister Gail; and his brother-in-law Ron Fowler of Godfrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to Mid-Town Moms in Alton, IL, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
