He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Neil Hale. He is survived by: his parents, James Peel (Linda Overstreet-Peel) of Bethalto, IL and Thersa Hale; and his stepsiblings, Tracey Lamere of Alton, Amanda Overstreet of Alton, Alexis Overstreet (Jordan) of Carlinville, Abigail Overstreet (Behrooz) and Philip Jackson (Angela) of East Alton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the LoveJoy United Presbyterian Church (2550 Rock Hill Rd, Wood River, IL 62095).
