It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lemuel Edwards of Wood River, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Edwards and Hazel Edwards (Jones); his wife Julia E. Carlton; and his children, Mark Edwards and Sheryl Edwards.

He is survived by : his son Len Edwards (Elizabeth) of Charleston, SC.; and his grandchildren, Sylvia, Len Jr. and Alaina.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
