James Rock Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of James Rock of Wood River, Illinois is shared. James, born on July 9, 1937, passed away on July 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Rock and Jewell Rock; and his wife Rosalie. He is survived by: his children, Jim Rock (Sharon) and Cynthia Rock; his brother Ted Rock (Valerie); his grandsons, Jason Gamble (Becca), William Gamble (Margie), Blaine Claudson, Charles "Chad" Claudson (Lynsi Brasken) and James Steinlage; his great grandchildren, Brayden Gamble and Lincoln Gamble; and his nephews, Vince Walsh-Rock, Theodore Micheal Rock and Kevin Rockmann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
