He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo T. Boverie and Lorraine K. Boverie (Harness); his wife Patricia Jane Zumwalt; his son Rodger Leach; and his sister Charlene Prather.
He is survived by: his sons, Lance Boverie (Patricia) of Edwardsville and Lanny Leach of Litchfield; and his siblings, Ronnie Boverie and Janet Gross (Sonny) of Bethalto. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
