She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict J. Balicki and Thelma Balicki (Bomia); her husband Edward Steed; and her siblings, Barbara Hodge, Benita Balicki, Larry Edward Balicki and Mark Balicki.
She is survived by: her nieces, Ashley and Brittani Balicki of Alton; her grandchildren, Zaydan and Salem Balicki; and her brothers, Stephen Balicki (Tina) of Roxana and Greg Balicki of Alton. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paynic Home For Funerals (618 E Airline Dr, East Alton, IL 62024).
