It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen S. Herrin (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen S. Herrin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kelley and Mary Kelley (Smith); her spouse Terry Herrin; and her sisters, Patricia Gates and Laura Lannom.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Dawn Herrin) and Jason (Tiffany Herrin); her grandchildren, Eric Herrin (Gabrielle) of Rosewood Heights, Madison Herrin and Zachary; her sister Marilyn; her brother-in-law Tom Jaco of Wood River; her brother Glen; and her sister-in-law Mary Kelley of Wood River. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the 5A's and will be accepted at the funeral home.
