Katie L. Davis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie L. Davis (Wood River, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katie L. Davis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer McPeak and Iva McPeak (Douglas); her husband James "Jim" D. Davis; her son Daniel Davis; her granddaughter Misty Davis; and her siblings, Leonard McPeak and Annabell Gibson.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Davis of Rosewood Heights and Clay Davis (Alicia) of Flagger Beach, FL; her daughter-in-law Sherry Davis of Chicago; and her grandchildren, Nicole Mitchell (Steve), Joe Meador (Kim), Dan Davis, Brandy Davis and John Barnard. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
