We are sad to announce that, on July 17, 2022, at the age of 91, Leslie Murphy (Wood River, Illinois), born in Heyworth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Murphy and Elba Murphy (Robinson); his children, Diana Grant and Gregory Murphy; his granddaughter Brittany; and his brothers, William, Howard and Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Ronnie Landers), Joan (Dane Mills) and Jeffory Murphy of East Alton; and his grandchildren, Jesse, Lindsay, Seth, Stephanie, Tiffany, Dustin, Kara, Jennifer, Brandi and Anthony. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice or Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
