She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Moussette and Lila Moussette (Gambill); her former life partner Earl Oliver; her stepfather Don Scoggins; her grandsons, Billy Van Hoose, Dustin Van Hoose and Joseph Johnson; her stepchildren, Cary Prather and Jennifer Hunter; her brother Danny; her sister-in-law Darlene Moussette; her sister Lila; and her brother-in-law Wayne Cline.

She is survived by : her sons, Van Hoose, William "Gurk" Van Hoose (Lisa) of Jerseyville and Michael Van Hoose (Missy) of Wood River; her stepson Kirk Prather (Stacy) of Godfrey; her grandchildren, Tiffany Walker (Chas) of Edwardsville, Cody Van Hoose (Samantha) of Moscow Mills and Rachel Roentz (Randy) of Jerseyville; and her great grandchildren, Kaden Van Hoose, Faith Van Hoose, Hailee Van Hoose, Gracie Van Hoose, Ashton Van Hoose, Claire Beemer, Caytline Beemer, Chloe Beemer, Cora Roentz, Joseph Johnson, Braden Johnson, Juner Green, Emily Green and Rory Walker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethalto Church of God (800 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
