He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Byrd and Verlyan Byrd (Sykes). He is survived by: his wife Cherie Byrd; his children, Autumn Powell (Brian) of Belleville, IL, Amanda Gray (Danny) of Collinsville, IL, Philip Byrd Jr. (Stephanie Rushing) of Collinsville, IL and Ashley Feezel (Jason) of Hamel, IL.; and his siblings, Patricia Andrews (Gary) of Tooney, AL, Peggy Edwards (David) of Springfield, IL and Donald Byrd (Kathy) of Granite City, IL.. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, and two (soon to be four) great-grandchildren.
