She is survived by: her husband Allen Monroe of Wood River, Illinois; her parents, Robert Rice and Reba Rice of Roxana, Illinois; her children, Justin Monroe (Courtney), Jason Monroe (Megan) and Julie Settle (Ben); her siblings, Bill Rice (Lea) of Raymore, Missouri and Verna Jo Tollen (Mark) of Show Low, Arizona; and her niece Ashley Weber (Andy). She is also survived by in-laws and members of her extended family.
