He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goodman and Sylvia Pittman (Pryor); his wife Melanie Horbeth; his siblings, Jasper, Floyd, Wayne Goodman and Gladys Martin; and his nephew Joe Martin.
He is survived by: his siblings' children, Brittany "Sunshine" Sanders (Luke), Courtney "Sassy" Inman and Kenny Inman (Cindy); his stepson Jesse Brennan of San Francisco, CA; his stepgranddaughter Katherine Brennan; his siblings, Alfred Goodman (Judy), Norma Goben of Hartford and Debbie Hornschemeier (David) of Cincinnati, OH; and his siblings' children, Theo Sanders, Roman Sanders, Eli Fay, Ariya Mueller, Gary Inman, Kerri Inman, Rhonda Lewis, Mark Goodman (Angel), Steve Goodman (Amy), Leia Swart (Alex), Alvin Hornschemeir and Audie Martin (Brenda).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marks Mortuary (633 E Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095).
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Foundation.
