It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila Herrin (Wood River, Illinois), born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Smiley and Pearl Smiley (Graham); her brother William; and her nieces, Crystal Sherman and Takisha Smiley.

She is survived by : her husband Al Herrin; her daughters, Lalah (Scott Lowry), Tammy (Todd Lowry), Georgia and Dawn (Jason Skelton); her grandchildren, Brad Lowry, Adam Lowry (Kseniya), Tori Raines (Brandon), Kynadi Lowry, Andrew Lowry and Jake Skelton; her great grandchildren, Jax, Jace, Rosalie, Kailyn and Rayna; and her siblings, Karen (Mike Brown), Peggy (Aaron Newton), Penny (David Davis), Linda (Richard Strausen), Tracie Smiley of East Alton, Jerri Jones of Godfrey and Robert Smiley of Eldorado. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
