He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry R. Bollinger and Dorothy E. Bollinger (Hunicutt); his wife Ann Marie Suhling; his children, Eric Bollinger (Karen) of Rosewood Heights and Melissa Peterson (Paul) of Carmel, IN; his grandchildren, Drew Slyford (Bill), Claire Savage (Sev), Daphne Peterson, Zach Peterson and Faith Peterson; his great grandchildren, Hadlee and Charlotte Savage; and his siblings, Jack Bollinger and Tami Bollinger (Bill).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1327 Vaughn Rd #1890, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St Paul Lutheran Church - 110th Anniversary Fund.
