He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gavin, Dillon Springer and Maddie Berry; his brothers, Michael Hawkins (Julie) and David Hawkins (Sally); and his siblings-in-law, Netta Hawkins and Lewis Peterman (Anita). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095).
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
