We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 91, Virginia Mae Murphy (Wood River, Illinois), born in East Alton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Fisher and Catherine Fisher (Held); her husband Marvin Richard Murphy; and her siblings, Harold Wayne Fisher (Norma) and Doris Johnessee (Harvey).

She is survived by : her children, Ricky Murphy (Diane) of Brighton, Gerald Murphy of Alton, Brenda Harrison (Herb) of Alton and Stephanie Murphy of Alton. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
