It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Clyde Linebarger Jr. (Wood River, Illinois), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Linebarger, and Alberta L. Linebarger, Sr. (Osborn); and his sister Carol Linebarger. He is survived by: his sisters, Sylvia Johnson of Florissant, Mary Wheeler of Worden and Linda Linebarger of Florissant; his niece Laura Wheeler (Justin Conley); his great-nieces, Trinity and Zaden; his cousin Rhonda Gravemann; and also, Aaron, Casey Linebarger, John and Cristie Scanio.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
