He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hughes and Lily Hughes (Hapgood); and his sister Kim Hughes. He is survived by: his daughter Angel Griffin (Dusty); his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Hughes (Susan), Patricia Breaux, Tina Morales (Pete) and Michelle Finley (Ray); and his friend Meghan Beck. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
