We bid farewell to Irene Howanec of Woodridge, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 11, 2026 at the age of 100. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orest Stuchlak and Anna Stuchlak (Chupak); her husband Myron Howanec; and her siblings, Joseph, Russell, Martha, Anna and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Novack (John) of Woodridge, IL, Myron Jr. (Laurie) of Corona, CA and David (Chong) of Aurora, CO.; her sisters, Helena Watcher of Mt. Joy, PA and Amelia Balandovich of Bethlehem, PA.; her grandchildren, John Howanec, Tim Howanec (Sarah), Scott Novack (Laura), Marissa Desai (Nirav), Lindsay Howanec, Hayley Morgan (Connor) and Daniel Howanec; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Howanec, Brett, Myron Howanec, Noah, Caleb, Sophia, Evelyn Novack, Lincoln Morgan and Mia Desai.
