He was predeceased by: his significant other Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Grell (Annette) and Jonathon Grell (Jacqueline); and his grandchildren, Jerred, Alexandria, Edwin, Bradley, Nicholas, William and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his in-laws, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (312 Lincoln Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Child Fund, Int. a cause that Ed and Margaret supported faithfully for decades.
